Hello,

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but I want to do a front disk brake conversion on my 1966 Chevelle and I also want to lower the front end a couple inches to get rid of the "stink bug" look. I was looking at a lowering spindle kit to retain the stock suspension geometry. I found this company and they say their spindles retain the stock geometry outside of moving the wheels out 1/4". I was wondering what you guys thought of this type of spindle, brake system and the company. The price seems pretty decent. http://www.streetrodparts.tv/dropped_spindles.htm I believe they are a distributor for McGaughy Classic Parts. Thank you in advance for your opinions.

From the website:
Note ALL Spindles are designed to use 78-85 Calipers and Rotors. These are not to replace your spindles and use your current brakes. So You must buy a Rotor Kit and you will then be able to bolt on a dropped spindle / disc brake system. Complete kit pictured below. $450 plus shippingUhhhh!! So you have to buy dinky 10.5" rotors for this swap?
