Does anyone know of a source for the lower steering column bearing for a '66?
I have the clip-on type bearing, apparently there is a bolt-on type that is reproduced, but so far I have not found anyone selling the one held on by a spring clip. If someone can confirm that I can drill holes for the bolts and use that one, I'd happily order one, but I'm not sure that would work.
Better yet would be if I can find a source for a proper replacement for the clip-on bearing.

I bought one from Ecklers that replaces all the factory pieces (bushing, clip) and mounts with just two little button head screws. No drilling required, the bolts line up with the holes already present on the column. It was like $95 and it not original. It looks good and works good though.
I got impatient looking for replacement parts for the correct factory style, and wanted to get it done before I dropped the engine back in.

I bought the brass bushing from year one, it replaces the stock bearing and it was cheap.
