I bought a set of original calipper backing plates that have been powder coated black. I need to have them re-done in original galvinized finish. Is it ok to just bead blast them to remove the powder coating or do they have to be chemichally stripped? Thanks

either will work. Spray on paint stripper would do fine the sand blasting will give you a better base to start from.

Luis...

What shape is the powder in?

If they look wonderful you might be able to trade someone for theirs...

Save you ALOT of time bead blasting powdercoat....

Powdercoating can be a real pita to sandblast off. You may be blasting for a while.
