(I posted this in off topic, but later realized it's a suspension question. Thanks COL.)
Put the new old Monte up on stands today and pulled the steering box. Leaks like a sieve! Dad runs to Branson 2-3 times a month, and he'll be dropping it by Power Steering Services in Springfield for me. Getting a rebuild and 12:1 upgrade. Anyone dealt w/this guy? Sounded pretty competent on the phone. Also, anyone know the measurements for the holes for the swaybar in the rear trailing arms? Hoping to get one @ one of the upcoming swaps, and wanna take mine to the shop and box 'em and set tubes for the bolts. Any info would be appreciated and hope to see some of you @ the swaps!

I live in Springfield and know some guys that have dealt with the rebuild shop here. They report back good experiences.

Instead of the swap meet sway bar, why not buy a brand new F41 rear bar from www.gmpartsdirect.com? (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com?) $65 shipped to your door. Quite a deal!

As for boxing the rear arms, our Tech Reference has step by step instructions for boxing them.

Thanks for the quick answer and the tip on the bar. I'm gonna go scavenging for a z28 bar later this week. Am I looking 70-81 or 81-up? I've heard the rear bar doesn't make much difference, but on my Camino, it made a world of difference, and I need all the help with this barge I can get!
