It's come time to replace the rear springs on my 72 chevelle driver. I'm at a loss as to what type of spring I should look at seeing as how I am still driving this thing daily but plan on it seeing quite a bit of track time in the future. Any suggestions most appreciated.

How about normal H.D. springs (Moog, TRW, Federal Mogul, etc.) and Air Lift bags to stiffen the springs individually as needed when racing?

I went with the Moog springs (front and back) from Classic Muscle (Modern Chevrolet)http://www.oldmusclecars.com/ in my 70 BB ragtop last summer (my local parts dealer had trouble finding a BB front spring for a 70 - GO FIGURE!?!?!). I don't have the Moog number however the Classic Muscle #'s are CS5450 & CS5413. I'm very happy with them. They ride GREAT! Check out photos of how my car sits in the links below. The ragtop springs and coupe are the same. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
