I have a 71 velle, and i bought the eibach springs front and rear. The front i cut out a coil to lower the ride height. Im going to put new shocks all around. Is there any certain shock i need when using drop springs(eibach says 1-2 inch drop on their springs). ALso what are some good shocks to use. I dont hear to much good about air shocks for the rear, i was also thinking about air bags for the rear coils. When using air bags, do you do away with the shock, or do you use both. Is there special air bags for velles, or will any air bag work. Thanks guys.

I would recommend a set of Billstein (http://www.bilstein.com/), Tokico (http://www.tokicogasshocks.com/), or Koni (http://www.koni-na.com/) Shocks. Either of these three companies are very well respected in the shock industry. Another option would be Edelbrock (http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/iasshock_index.html) or KYB (http://www.kyb.com) Shocks.
Any of these choices would be very good. As for air bags in the rear springs, this is a good idea and racers use it alot to pre-load one side of the suspension to help with launch and wheel hop, but you still use rear shocks.
