: rear end question: Chevelle vs. Monte Carlo 67Chevelleguy Jun 2nd, 03, 10:29 PM Would a 12 bolt (Non posi) rear end out of a 70' Monte Carlo fit in my 67 Chevelle? The Chevelle has a rear of 10 bolt on it right now and is a malibu frame. Would the Carlo's end fit on my Chevelle? :confused: thanks for everyones help I owe ya one ;) wes 67 CHEVELLE SS 396 72SSAbody Jun 2nd, 03, 10:32 PM Yes, it will fit/bolt-up if the monte is from '70-'72. Be aware that from flange to flange the monte rear end is about an inch wider than your '67 rear end. And I seem to remember something about the spring pad being either slightly different. Nothing that will keep you from installing the rear end though.
