Anybody repopping the correct 70 disc brake hold off valve that attaches to the power brake booster? Any sources to locate a used one, if nobody is repopping them?

You can buy them from just about any of the vendors, they are about 150 bucks. Ground Up Year One, etc. Its called a proportioning valve. The valve that mounts to frame below your brake booster is the distribution valve. I just completed a complete frame-off resto on a 70SS 396-375, 4-speed. I was lucky to have been able to use my original valves.I just cleaned them up with thinner. I dealt with a lot of vendors during my 2-year Resto. It's really not a proportioning valve, although Ground Up may choose to call it that. It's commonly referred to as a "metering valve". MasterPower Brakes used to rebuild them, and it wasn't cheap...like 80 or 90 bucks. I've never seen used or rebuilt for sale anywhere. Ground Up wants 139.95 for a new one. In a pinch you can just do without the thing, but that does mean you'll put more wear on the front and less on the back brakes.
