I just purchased a '67 Malibu fixer-upper (or an ugly piece of junk, if you ask my mom). This car was born with manual steering and manual drum brakes. My girlfriend has a '68 2-door Impala sitting in a barn going to waste that just happens to have power steering and power disc brakes. My question is, will these components work on my Chevelle? And if so, what kind of modifications will be required? Any help and/or tips will be greatly appreciated.

if I am right, all will go together. I know the disc spindles will fit perfectly on the 67. All you need is a pwr disc brake line. It won't be correct because 67's used two peice rotors and a 4 piston caliper. In fact, my 67 has impala disc spindles on it, no problems! I think my brake booster will fit perfectly on the 67 also. My 67 also has a Impala power steering box too.
Everything should fit perfect! graemlins/thumbsup.gif
good luck,

(my mom also says my 67 is a pile of junk  )

Now I've got an excuse to ask around about that 68 Impie sitting in the alley behind my house smile.gif

I really didn't think the Impala spindles would bolt onto a Chevelle. The full-size GM's never seem to be mentioned in any of the swap lists. The only place I've seen them listed is the B-Body conversion which is adding newer spindles onto the car and this is not a direct bolt-on.
