I have a '72 CHevelle Malibu which I wont eventually like to convert to the SS Dash.

My question is do the '72 Malibu dash & SS Dash require different radios?

I am thinkin of replacing my radio now and doing the dash converstion at a later date and dont want to waste money on the radio if it wont fit in a SS Dash.

I think the radios are the same...just the knobs are different between a sweep dash and a SS one.
FYI...John, your last name and mine are the same...cousin?? :D
