Four wheel power drums; new master cylinder, all new shoes and springs front and back and new wheel cylinders in the back several months ago. All was fine until a couple of weeks ago when it started pulling real hard to the left. Had a leaking cylinder on right front brake, so I replaced the front wheel cylinders and hoses. I've ran probably three quarts of brake fluid thru the system bleeding them and they're still spongy, lotta pedal travel and the pedal doesn't get any better with pumping. (It doesn't go all the way to the floor and the car stops)
I also replaced the vacuum line, the grommet on the booster, and the check valve with a generic HELP! part from Advance Auto.
I noticed today that the pedal's a lot tighter when I'm in neutral. Why would this make a difference? Better vacuum?
Any ideas, suggestions?
Thanks.
