guy who owned my 67 before me ground down all the studs for the window molding clips- why would someone do this ,I have no idea :confused:- anyone know of the best way to replace them, how far to space them and how deep to position them from the surface (location for each stud) and what to use as replacements- I was thinking maybe small screws would do the trick- any and all help apprechiated

They make screws for just this purpose... and they also make replacement studs that you can weld back on with a stud gun.
