I am ready to completely remove the rear end and control arms from the car. What is the best (proper) sequence of removal ?

jack up rear, remove shocks, disconnect ebrake cables, disconnect brake hose, lower rear, remove rear springs, then remove control arms.

Have fun. Taking it out isn't too tough. Putting it back in can be a pain. Trying to wrestle the rear end around to line up bolt holes. smile.gif At least you have the body off. I was lying on my back.

Taking the body off is downright CHEATING!! Try doing with the body on once! tongue.gif

One thing to add, get help! Another person around to help muscle that thing around is a benefit. ;)

Be sure to turn on the oxygen and the acetylene, then strike....instant blue tip wrench :D

as with most things, taking it apart is much easier than getting it back together again :D
