I'm going to be repainting the console dash i have. Now i have it all disassembled, except this piece of trim on top. It doesn't have any screws to hold it, instead by what looks like glue. How would i go about removing this without damaging it? I have pictures.

Could you just mask it and then paint?

Well, maybe yet i would just like to paint it entirely, even underneath that. The piece is loose, should i just cut the little glue things and pull?

Never mind i got it off. The trim was pretty corroded.
