I don't recall it being like that before, Am I doing something wrong or missing something? The edit tab is not there. I had a older post and had a picture attached, Picture link was no longer available so I was going to put the new link in there and did not have the edit option, What gives? Even the post a couple weeks old I don't have the option. Was it always like that?

I'm pretty sure the edit function only lasts for an hour or so now.

You only have a small window to edit your post. Not sure how long but it's only about a day or a few hours.

It's been like that almost forever.

The ability to edit posts after a day was instituted if I remember correctly, because of a trash-talking, mud-slinging contest between some now ex-members. They went back and deleted or changed their old posts. It got ugly and so it was changed to a reasonable length of time to edit your post. It may have happened around 2001/2002; I can't recall exactly.

My edit chances went away at about 12 hourw.
