: A-Body K-Member?

BMR makes tubular K-members for late-model (last-model?) F-bodies BMR site (http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-bodyChassis.htm) and there are several other makers for - gulp - Mustangs, too.

Would it be sensible to consider adapting such a K-frame with its up-to-date geometry, rack & pinion, sway bar, brakes, spindles, and atleast lower a-arms to the A-body? Wonder if BMR would consider this?

I don't know, but it seems there're lots of solutions in this one package. Thankfully the Chevelle has a solid frame for mounting, so it may not be such an outrageous idea...

That would be a dumb idea. Cut apart a solid frame to graft a subframe?
