: Polished or Chrome wiper motor?

Hi Guys,

Anyone have a source for a good looking wiper motor for a 67? The thought of desecrating my beautiful firewall with the ugly factory wiper/washer motor combo is not appealing. I am not re-installing the washer bottle and associated parts, so just a simple wiper motor is good.

Thanks,

Matt

I sold chrome & polished parts and don't recall seeing anything like that commercially available .It's most likely going to be a custom job.

I've driven my '66 in the rain exactly once in the 9 years I've owned it (to CB '09) and can tell you having the DSE motor was great. 7 speed settings made it easy to deal with 500 miles of rain. The front cover of that motor and the mounting plate do come off pretty easily so you could chrome those I suppose, but it looks pretty trick as is compared to the stock one and works fantastic.
