I am getting ready to install the 77 Malibu #1639 that BC recommennded. I also have a new set of lines to go with it.
I understand that the MC is backwards from the normal ones in that the big rerservoir is in the back. So the front feeds the rears and the rear feeds the fronts - right ?
As for the lines which one are the small diameter lines to - the front or back ?
Thanks !

I run this MC on my car.
You are correct, front port on the MC is for the rear brakes, rear port is for the front brakes.
The large diameter tube goes to the front port of the MC, small diameter for the rear port.

Thanks Troy !
Now to take this a step further - when the large line (rear brakes - front port) goes to the Combo valve I assume it connects up to the port to the rear of the valve (nearest the rear line connection.
And the small line (front brakes - rear port) goes to the connection towards the front of the combo valve.

I don't know which combination valve you are using, but all the combination valves / distribution blocks that I have seen are setup as you described-- front port on the valve for front brakes, rear port for rear brakes.

I found a great page on the MP Brakes site that has all you will ever want to know about the valves and the different brake setups.
