I have been looking for a manual steering box for my 69 chevelle and ran across one from a 73 el camino. The yard man says the box will interchange, but wasn't sure on the pitman arm.
Is the box and the 73 model pitman arm a direct swap to the 69??
The car was in a storm in 73 and has 0 miles. graemlins/beers.gif

I know the power steering boxes will interchange (thus the frames share the same bolt hole locations), thus it stands to reason that a manual box would interchange as well. I'd find a Hollander's interchange manual and make sure though if any good deal of money is at stake.

Troy, thanks for the post. The interchange manual I saw showed only the manual to manual swaps nothing from power to manual.
