First thing I want to make clear is this is not a negative posting.

I started installing the new fuel and brake lines from Inline Tube. It is beautiful stuff but the bends don't seem to go the right ways in some places, especially the rear of the fuel line and the front of the brake line. I got the fuel in but had to make other bends and it doesn't look as nice as it did.

The brake line is off too. Where it comes out of the distribution block places the block too high for the bracket to bolt to the frame. The brake line going across the crossmember starts in the same place so both were bent to place the block in the wrong position. I'm going to have to rebend both of these lines to be able to mount the distribution block.

Has anyone else run into these problems with new lines? I did have similar problems with the set from Classic Tube I installed on my Nova.

TOO bad,, I got Right Stuff Lines and they jumped into place for me,, brake and fuel , especially brake bends ( as you point out) by combo valve perfect bends

No I don't and unfortunately money doesn't allow for another set. I'll have to remember them for my next project. Can we all say General Lee smile.gif

I had the same problem, just bend slowly and gradual. Check out my site and you can see they do fit,but I wouldn't call them Preformed.

Mine were also stainless "fuel/brake" ,so they were also harder to bend.

Good luck.
