Well my 70 SS is originally mist green with black stripes....For the past 6 years thats what it was going to be painted. Lately after it being black primer, the dark color has grown on me. Now I want both, a dark green of some sort with white stripes. But the original color is still appealing to me, but it just doesnt seem like me. It has the dark green interior already which looks good with black.
I just dont know what to do. I want to do the body work but I wish i had a place to do it...

itll be mist green or dark green either way. I think of turquoise as a blue color

"Run Forest Run".....LOL just kiddin..I think the Forest Green with the white stripes looks great.....unless you want it back all original....I mean everything on the car is still original....then you have to go with original color... If not, I would paint it what ever color I liked the best.....I have always liked the darker colors on the '70....but thats just me.

I would like to see what a black with forrest green stripes would look like...never know..maybe a great color combo....I'm just saying....
Good luck and paint it what ever you can live with...it may be that color for a while....

I like them both. You can't go wrong either way.

I'm partial to lighter lime greens. I think they are very 70s. Forest is much more mid 90s. But a great color for a chevelle.

If I couldn't decide between two colors and one of them is the original color, I'd go with the original color. Mist green looks awesome and it's not near as common as forest green.

I said it before many times and I'll say it again,I love Forest green with white stripes.:thumbsup:
