Does anyone have a pic or diagram of how to install the body mounts on a 67? I bought a new set last winter and found out there were no directions and as we attempted, it doesn`t look like we have enough rubber bushings.
thanks to all that reply.

Keith,
Not sure if you have a coupe or convertible, but convertibles used 2 more body mounts than coupes. I decided to install the "extra's" on my coupe as the body is designed to accept them. I can fax you a copy of the GM PAD documets I have for this application if you would like. also, all of the bushings are the same with teh exception of the two that go in the middle of the door opening (1 on each side). The diamater of the busing is smaller, as well as teh height is shorter. GM had a different P/N for this location, but to the best of my knowledge none of the rubber mount manufacturers have accounted for this. I turned mine down using a bench grinder, and they turned out pretty well. You will also need to shorten the bolt in this location. I belive that a had to remove a little more than a 1/4 inch in height. I also believe that if yu look up energy suspension on line that they have there instruction sheets online that will help you as well.

Could you also send me a copy of that diagram. I am planning to jump into the body bushings during the holidays so any help would be great. I already got a lot of info off this site but what you have already said is new to me. At least until I reread all that I printed. thanks for any input.

As Jason noted, the center bolts are shorter in the door jamb area. Use the long bolt and you'll start cranking up the door sill metal.
