I just finished installing all the brake components off of a 71 Monte Carlo onto my 67 Malibu. Wouldn't you know it I would have a couple pieces left over. I am guessing they are teh anti-rattle clips for the pads. A thin piece of spring metal about 3 inches long, sort of looks like this ____/\_ I am puzzled as to where the friggin' thing goes. Its a Delco Moraine caliper, so if any one has a diagram, God bless ya, would you send it along. Thanks

It clips to the pad on the piston side of the caliper. The V will be the furthest away from the hub

Thanks,

I tried and it still did not work. Alas, I broke down and went to a brake shop. Now I know why it didn't work, the friggin clip was broke on the end. The brake fellow gave me two new ones free. I tiik them home, and voila, they fit like a glove. Sometimes I gotta tell ya, its the little things that turn a big job into a monster! graemlins/angry.gif

I'm okay now!! graemlins/beers.gif
