She wasn`t happy about me getting the car. In fact I kind of sprung it on her last minute so I can understand her being mad but I finalyl was able to take her for a ride. By the time we got back she was smiling and said she really liked it. I had a black primered 69 elky when we met that she really liked riding around in and I think it brought back some old memories for her. Plus this one is faster than the old one,lol. She said it would look better black primered too. I had already planned on a satin black paintjob so that should do.

Cool, my wife gets the first ride in mine once it's running again.

i drove around for several miles,
soon as the car hit about 45mph the hood popped open in traffic,
i about crapped my panties, :(
i forgot to lock the hood down :(

My wifes first ride almost cost me a back glass. I said hang on and of course she didnt and BAM! Her head smacked the back glass. She and I both about crapped, but I didnt lift anyways. I think the 11 second pass scared her a little and she hasnt rode in it since. lol

I did the same thing only i only had one seat so put a bunch of pillows on the floor and behind her and told her to put her head against the back and leave it there before i took off, but i didn't even get to hit the other 2 barrels of the car before i was being yelled at to slow down.:D

Well I just handed her the keys when the 400 hp 327 motor got put in and she went for a ride down our street....Happy Birthday to her...
