Call Ground-Up (top right corner of this page) and order the complete kit, with the pins, cables etc.

Yes Joel, the factory hood pins were just for cosmetic appearance. The hood latch/safety catct is still what holds the hood down.

How can you tell the difference between the original pins and repops?

Most vendors have a pretty close to original stainless steel set for around $25.00.

What I have found is the cable clamp is way off!!! It is a flat brown plastic clip. You will need to replace with a more correct white plastic cable clamp. Also, I have found that the pin mounting hardware should be replaced with "phospated flange nuts", instead of the supplied thin nut and washer combination. Scuff plate and cable clamp mounting hardware will need to be replaced with more correct screws as well.

The scuff plate and gasket, pin, cables, and pin clips are pretty close to original though.:D

Are there any differences on the pin itself that you are aware of?
