Without modifications to the front drum spindles and without ending up with a wider track, I would like to upgrade to disk brakes.

ECI caught my attention because it claims to do this (within my budget) with it's aluminum hub kit. I like the potential weight savings as well.

I had considered the smaller metric conversion for weight savings but see a lot of negative feedback regarding same.

Any other options that are lightweight and reasonable?
