I'm currently shopping around for a disc brake upgrade for my '69 SS to replace the stock units.

I've narrowed it down to Wilwood or Baer. Anyone using Wilwood? Likes/Dislikes?

I'm looking at the kits from both companies that can be run with a 15" rim, which will be a 15x7 Torq Thrust D for my car.

Thanks guys.

Wilwood does not offer a kit that will fit inside a 15" wheel that would be recommended in anything but a fairgrounds/drag car. the H/D kits you are looking at for around 600 or so are specifically for drag use, not designed for the heat cycles street driven cars are subjected to.

Besides the obvious mini rotor size the Dynalite calipers suffer from mount flex and over time wiil lead to failure.

The Baer street kit is a decent kit, it will do what you want albeit for a few dollars more.

I agree with Dennis. Go with the Baer Super Street 11" front kit. You can run most 15" wheels with that set-up.
