I am converting my 65 Chevelle to front power disk Brakes with dual master cylinder. I have checked everywhere for the correct distribution block to get. Does anyone know who has a correct one. Can I use a new one from 1967- 1971. Thanks for the help jemoore24

When converting from drum to disc, you won't use a distribution block, you will use a proportioning valve. Its used to proportion the pressures between the front disc's and the rear drums.

Yes but does a prop valve have enough fitting four all the lines. Usually they are just for going to the rear of the car. Alot of prop valves I have seen only have two imputs. jemoore24

I think that what you are looking for is technically called a combination valve. A lot of people just call them proportioning valves when the are referring to a factory style two input three output valve.

Check with your local GM dealer. I bought one for our '72 Lemans Sport a few short years ago. If the stuff is available, it is usually in the next day and you aren't paying a whole lot of shipping costs. Then again, GM prices can be pretty stiff.

The adjustable prop valve has 2 outlets. Yhe " brass block GM style" is a pre-set combination valve with the internal safety switch, the fron and rear lines and the metering valve. We sell those valves.

I used a 67 factory dist. block n my 65 and brakes work fine and used 67 brake lines. All fit great and brakes are great.
