have the front springs been replaced yet?? Had the same problem with my 68. Just did the front end and am waiting for the springs to settle a little. But so far the rear is level.

Robert,
Most people cut the lower part of the spring. The upper end of factory type springs is flattened so it sits flat in the upper spring pocket.Maybe one side is in upside down.If you cut the wrong end you may have ruined that spring.

The way things are going I'm sure i cut the wrong end :( the upper side of the spring is still in the rubber isolator i didn't cut much about a 3"
pc. from were the spring ended , may be i'll remove the spring and cut some off the othere side???(bottom ) hay can i just flip the spring
so that the cut side is down

Did you replace your body bushings? That can cause lean if one is completly gone or something. Check them out see if they are bad.

As I said if you cut the flat end you probably ruined it.There are two ways to tell which end is flattened.,a white or yellow paint mark is applied at the spring factory or if thats missing or painted over you can set the spring down on end, the side thats flat will sit level. Also springs are usually cut in half coil or full coil increments. So about 3 inches would be less than a half coil. While cutting the spring may get the car to sit level I think your problem is caused by something besides the springs.
