does anybody offer repo or nos frame brackets for disc brake hoses. I have a 67 which I'am installing the inline tube disc brake conversion (mannual). do I need to change the location of the rod mounted to the brake pedal and come up another bracket for the brake lights. Is power brakes a bad ideal for a 396-375 hp car. biged

You can modify the stock drum brake hose brackets with a round file and a disc brake hose end, I have done this it takes about 5 mins a side. Power brakes can be used on a stock cammed 375 hp 396, but pedal may be on the hard side, I have successfully used power brake with vacuum as low as 7' in gear but the pedal was very hard. Another option is vacuum pump or vacuum storage can.

just use 69 camaro disc brake hoses, they already have the right end on it for a drum hose bracket, why, i dont know but it is true! i have put them on 68-72 chevelles and leave the drum frame hose brackets on. the camaro hoses are a coulpe inches longer (which is good) and the same end as the chevelle drum hoses. graemlins/hurray.gif

I used a stainles steel hose kit I think it was a Russell kit (could have been Earls). The frame end is round (no shape to keep the end from turning)and fits the drum or the disc.
