I am in some serious need for some changes in ride height on my 69 SS. I just went and took some measurements before I came in. For tires I have 215 70 R15 in the front and 275 60 R15 in the rear. For measurements I have 13 inches from the ground to the bottom of the fender and in the back there is 19 inches from the ground to the bottom of the quarter panel. Now, I like it up just a little in the back but this is too much in my opinion. Not to mention it has a real stiff ride in the back. For suspension I have stock springs in the front that I am assuming are shot because they have spacers in them, and stock in the back as well.I have KYB front shocks and KYB gas adjusts in the back. I would like to get a better ride, not so bouncy and I think it might be caused by the height difference. I need your help please. Any opinions would be great. By the way it has a 468 Big Block in it.Thanks.

Can you give us the measurement from the ground to the center of the fenderwell lip, instead? My car is pretty low and it measures around 24".

Well I just went and took some measurements and I was amazed, I still am in shock. The front is just under 26" and the back is 27 1/4". It looks like the back is a lot higher than the front though. Any suggestions? New front springs maybe? I have a pic of the car from the side if someone wants to see it and help me out. Please let me know. Thanks.
