Referring to electric fans.

I have the orignal in mine I had built to a 3 row, polished the tank etc and want to use this one.

The dual fan setups I see are mostly on aluminum radiators, anyone have a good success witht one that covers the area of the stock sb radiator?

FOr now Im running a shroud and a plastic fan which has been good but want to use a good aux fan "just in case" and for cooling down between runs. If it proved reliable Id eliminate the mech fan altogether and carry it with in the event the electrics went out somewhere.

Thanks.

Lots of choices here..oem fan/shroud combos seem to be the best bang for the buck. Or aftermarket ones like spal or flex-a-lite work good to but can get a bit pricey.
If you want aftermarket performance ones talk to Don from Alumitech ( just search for his name or scroll down to the vender section) Nice guy, has answerd a couple questions for me and everybody on this web site raves about the quality and service.
If you want to try and find an OEM set up check out "AEON IMPORTS" on ebay. They have diagrams of hundreds of oem fans. Then mesure your rad and find a good match.

OR....

If you just want the extra fan for cooling down after a pass maybe you could just add a pusher fan in front of your rad????:clonk:

Good luck thought id just help complicating it for you.

If you have enough clearance inside your shroud, you might consider an auxillary electric "helper" fan inside the shroud. There are slim-line fans that may fit, depending on your available space. That way you could keep your mech fan and engage the electric only when you need it.
