What should the casting number read on a 66 muncie trans the one thats in my car now reads GM 62611886 A 28 8, NOSE 352254, NFC 3, 9010 GM 3925656 This looks to be for a 68.:confused:

That Muncie sure look's like a Saginaw from the #'s you posted.

66 Munice should be 3885010 (aluminum case)
Date should read like P1118
P=Muncie
11=Nov
18=18th of Nov

Your numbers are definately for 68-69 Saginaw (cast iron case)
