I'm going to be replacing the body bushings on my 72 chevelle soon but I'm not sure on which ones to use, polyurethane or the polygraphite ones.

I already have a set of the polyurethanes for the rear control arms but I haven't installed them yet.

I will be replacing the body, front & rear control arm bushings.would like to use all the same brand

Has anyone used either one of these on their cars, did they sqeak and how did it ride, handle etc.

I've had both, the plain polyurethane and the p-s-t polygraphite bushings.

Plain ones sqeak at every bump, but tightened the suspension up nicely.

Polygraphite ones don't squeak! (recommend). They also tightened things up well - I used to have wheel hop, and now I don't. I'll be going to these in the front on my own car one of these winters....

Thanks for the info. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I think I'm going to try and sell the polyurethanes I already got for the rear control arms and get all the polygraphite bushings I need from PST.

Good move, IMO.

Did you buy black energy bushings? If you ask Energy their black bushings have graphite in them. The casting # on the PST bushing is the same # as on the Energy. I have had the energy packaged & PST packaged kits for the same application at the same time. Does Energy supply PST with the magic polygraphite bushings????
