My el camino has a early T10 4spd. I found a nice comp plus shifter but it says it`s for a muncie or saginaw. I know the linkage is a little different so I`ll probably have to get a different installation kit but will the shifter bolt up?

the correct installation kit will have the correct mount for your shifter.

Thanks Huff. I think for the price I need to find something a little cheaper used or just pony up and buy a new one which is what I`ll probably end up doing. I know Summit sells a comp plus for a 65 el camino with a T10 which is odd really since they didn`t come with one. Guess it`s a popular swap.
