Looking to reduce some spinning weight, need some aluminum drums for the rear of my 68.Wandering what years of cars they came out on and what would work on my car,or if they came out on a 68 and if anyone has some to sell.
Thanks graemlins/clonk.gif

They came on a lot of "G" body cars, Regal, Malibu, Cutless, ect. Any of them will fit a stock axle and lug pattern. Don't expect a big weight savings. When I put them on, I weighed them and they were 2.5 lbs each ligher than the iron drums, for a total of 5 lbs. Of course, that un-sprung weight so it's more that 5 lbs off the chassis would be ET wise. If I had it to do again, I probably wouldn't do it. The drums were $35 each and turning them was another $7, so they're not very cost effective.

They were also used on alot of the B-bodies in the 80's. Our 86 Caprice has them. I haven't had the time to swipe them off that car yet to put them on my 70.

Just thought if i could save any weight here or there and i could find some cheap enough then i would use them, trying to save some spinning weight since my slicks are mounted on stock rallys. My car balences between 3480 and 3500 lbs and i have taken alot out of the heavy stuff, so anything will help now if its cheap enough. LOL
Thanks
