Hello,
I am prepping to install the new dash I have put together in my 67 Malibu, and would like any tips, or links that might help. I did not have the luxury of taking the car apart, so putting it back together will be a bit more work. I have restored the dash with all new chrome, paint, switches, knobs, etc, and have the screw kit as well. Under dash insulation is in, steering is out. The under dash wiring looks acceptable, and I have all the manuals I can find. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
Mike

Completely assemble your dash on your bench as it's very hard to get under there once it's in. New blubs in everything and bench test them. Your dash pad needs to be in before the dash board too.I set a couple of milk crates on the floor boards in the car with a couple of old pillows on them to set the dash on. Pick it up and stick it in the dash and start some screws in the upper middle and move on to all the screws and bolts.

had mine out twice in the past 20 years. certainly not the most fun thing to do. another set of hands sure helps. be sure that you have the brace that goes from the firewall to the dash panel. this one is between the radio and the glove box. hopefully your car is not an a/c car like mine but be sure connect all of your control cables for the heater/ac up and leave that panel out for installation until you get it installed. hope this helps...have "fun"...
