Probably a dumb question but are "monthly fees" something paid each month(selling or not) or just for whenever your selling something. I ask because I'm going to sell a few items, non car related. I went to set up an account and reading over the acceptance agreement it said something about monthly fees. Does one have to pay a monthly fee even if they don't have something listed? Any selling advice on Ebay would be appreciated. TIA Pete

No fees until you either sale or list something. Lucky me, I've made over $1200 in the last week selling stuff on Ebay and only have a fee of $52. HAHA, thats $1100+ in my pocket. Not to forget about paypal little sneaky fees. FEES FEES FEES

I think if one sets up a "store" then there is a monthly charge, depending on what features your store has, as well as the monthly charges for each item. Then of course are the final value fees. Am debating as to whether to do that, (set up a store) as the auction format no longer works IMO for most items, of course except for the rare date coded or desireable NOS stuff.
