tryin to bleed brakes on all 4 corners. It is leaking where the softline meets the calper. I have copper gaskets on each side of the fitting. The bolt it tight as well. Does it matter which side of the fitting goes flush to the caliper?

From what I've found out, those fittings have to be fairly tight or they will leak. I was bleeding mine last weekend and one of them was leaking a little, so I tightened it another 1/8 of a turn and it stopped.

I'm not sure if it matters what side goes where...maybe someone else will chime in.

the hose can go on either way. a washer goes on both sides, it has to be new if it is previously crushed it may not seal. torque to 22 foot pounds. if it does not seal, you might have a bolt that is too long. always check your thread engaugement.
