What are some ways you know of or have done?

I know of using a blowtorch to bake off the factory coating, then shoot a coat of heat proof paint, heat with a blowtorch, repeat 5 times or so.

When i do the 402, I'd hate to open the hood and see those rusty pipes like i do on my 350. :(:(

and Ceramic is out of my budget

I've sand blasted headers and then just painted with hi-temp BBQ grill paint before...holds up pretty well and in car touch ups are easy.

Brandon, you might want to try this.

I used the cast iron Techline coating on my exhaust manifolds.

VHT or any hi temp paint works great for me. As Bill said, easy to touch up too.

VHT has 1300-2000 f paint, that seems like a winner if you break it in a few times
