I want to raise up my '69 Malibu to help clear the header collectors and to make room for bigger wheels/tires. Its a small block car probably with the factory springs, which are very tired by now. Believe it or not, I like the sittin' up high look and would like to get the stance to about 1" above stock, even front to back. Not concerned with handling, I never expected this car to corner.

Question: Can I just buy replacement springs for a big block with AC front and rear along with new shocks? What else to consider? Thanks for any tips!
