I am seriously considering lift bars. Where should i but them? and what brand? do they squeak?
I plan on adding a 7/8 sway bar.. will this bolt up to it?

I have the Jegs (SSM) lift bars on my chevelle. They work great but I was unable to reuse my rear sway bar. Some have grinded on the sway bar a little and got them to work. I just haven't missed it so far. But if I do I'll do the same to mine.

I ran a stock rear sway bar on my 70 SS396/4 speed using the Southside Machine bars..it was little tight bolting up,and I had to use smaller bolts than stock to bolt the swaybar up,but it was well worth..cured the wicked wheelhop I had graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I used a stock sway-bar on my SSM's also. It was tough getting it in there, but I did it. I didn't really notice any difference in handleing with and w/o the sway-bar though. Some say you don't need it with SSM's

mine dont squeak at all, and im not using a sway bar so i cant comment on that, but i can say the ssm bars increased the handling without it.

I've run SSM liftbars with a sway bar, without a sway bar and couldnt tell any difference between the two. Like Brandon said, the handling improved installing the liftbars alone. The swaybar was a pain in the A$$ to install also, alot easier to remove, and now its standing in the corner of the garage.

Something in the geometry of the SSM liftbars, reduces body roll, it handles great without the rollbar, I just tried the swaybar hoping to improve 60ft times.
