I think it's a fake ad. A Malibu convertible even in this economy would pull 20k easy looking like that. Add buckets and a 4 speed, that is a 30k car

Most of the time these people put on fake ads to scam you out of cash. The car truly doesn't exist, or if it does, it isn't theirs and they just stole pictures for their ad. If you call the guy and he says wire him $2,000 then you can have the car shipped to you and pay the driver the rest when it gets there, run away as fast as you can

Prior to a couple months ago I never saw one of those scam ads on AutoTrader, now it is overrun by them.

Couple months ago? They have been on there for a few years now, in all those traders, bikes/atvs, boats, look around, those stupid bastages have been around for quite awhile. My buddy got scammed out of 2500 for an ATV 3 years ago from one of those adds. He isn't dumb, just computer slow, LOL
