I've been kicking around the idea of doing a pro-street theme on the ragtop. my plans would include custom leather and tweed interior, mono paint scheme, mild blown 350/th 400/narrowed 12bolt or 9". Im trying to decide what is the most economical route on the rear suspension. Im thinking the best route would be full rear sub-frame with a 4 link setup, but that would cost alot of money. from what I read mini-tubbing wouldnt give me much additional room for tire clearance.I would like to run something like a 31X16.5 inch tire. I know its an oxymoron to use the words economical and pro-street in the same sentence but can any of you guys running mini-tubs/tubs narrow rearends give me some ideas. thanks
