Luis Dec 17th, 09, 9:26 PM When you strip down you really bare it all:D Great welding on the shifter hump. Those floor look great. Have to love a straight rust free body. It makes the job faster and cheaper to work on it. Just bring it to the MCC show as a project.
BillsCamino Dec 17th, 09, 9:43 PM Some guys get to have all the fun!!
Nice project Al.
I'm anxious to see the final result. Any specific timetable on completion? Maybe the MD or CanAm show next year?? Or CB'10?
DUKE 69 Dec 17th, 09, 10:01 PM Moving right along there, Albert. Looks great so far! Sure be nice to see that one on Grand Island next July!

DUKE 69 Dec 24th, 09, 7:40 AM That "stripper" looks like it works pretty well. How long did it take for the results you show in your pics and where did you find it? And hey, your "frame room" is much too clean for a resto. shop LOL! Looks good, Albert and Merry Christmas

DUKE 69 Jan 11th, 10, 1:42 PM Albert,
Once again, looking pretty good. The floorpan looks amazingly good overall, esp. in the wheelhouse areas. I'm not surprised about some rust repairs but still, pretty darn nice considering the age and such. That stripper stuff you used looks like it worked pretty well! It's amazing what one can find now to help in a resto. job.

DUKE 69 Mar 10th, 10, 7:53 AM Simply stunning! Looks like your shop is getting smaller, Albert. Are you sure you built it big enough? Does anyone ever do that?
alss Mar 11th, 10, 9:25 AM Simply stunning! Looks like your shop is getting smaller, Albert. Are you sure you built it big enough? Does anyone ever do that?
Thanks Duke!!...Thought it was big enough..glad I have extra space in the other building..oh wait..thats full too!..George carlin said it best..if you make the room..you will fill it with your "stuff" :D
Keith Tedford Mar 11th, 10, 12:54 PM On our floor pan, I'm finding something on the tunnel forward of the shifter hole and above the transmission. I think it is a sound deadener but could be crud baked on by the heat. It's a Baltimore car if that makes any difference. What did you find? That was one well looked after car you have there. Canadian winters, with the road salt, are not very kind to cars.
66 Beau Mar 13th, 10, 12:56 PM Wow. Nice work. It's going to be a beauty!
