I am wanting to lift rear of 66 chevelle. suspension is new front to reaR. But sitting to low in rear to high in front. Am thingking of using A spacer to lift rear one inch, it,s made by Mr gasket. I haven,t seen one yet except in a picture but it looks to sit between frame and sping, not sure yet if it,s used on bottom or top of spring. Just wanting to know if anyone has used one of these before. Also thinking of using a compresser to lower front. I think front will drop alittle as I drive it for awhile. Any info would be appreceated. thanks Duane

Spacers in the rear are okay, they go under the spring on top of the perch on the diff.
The other thing to consider for the rear is air shocks. They allow you to change the ride height to sompensate for load, conditions, or mood.
Don't compresss the fronts, it'll adversely affect the ride, handling, etc. You'd really be better off to get lowering springs from Eibach or one of the other players if you only want an inch or so, or get dropped spindles for 2" or more.
The big question is why is it sitting so funny? Stock ride height on Chevelles has the rear slightly higher than the front, and the front can look pretty high, particularly considering the current fad of "in the weeds" cruisers.
G'luck & have fun!

Just an inch?? use air bags, air shocks are tough on shock mounts, I've broken them in a 66 SS I used to have, back in the day of the stinkbug look.
