just installed1.25 sway bar in my 69 ..tight fit on idler arm,almost touching is this normal?did anyone elsr expeirience this,just curious....thank oyu for your input in advance.....

Yeah, mine is touching the rubber boot around the joint of the arm. As long as you didn't have to force the bar in against the idler arm, you should be fine. The arm rotates and the sway bar rotates so there won't be any clanging of parts together or anything. Things just have to be able to move freely.

the idler arm bolts can be loosened to allow a little movement then retorque. it will not move much, but it might be all you need.
