What needs to be done to convert from factory manual disc brakes to power disc brakes ?

That's it? The push rod is the same legnth?

The master may or may not work depending on what rod length rod is in the booster you use, there is a short and long rod. Myself I would get a new master for the same year the booster came off. I do not remember if the depth of a manual master is the same as a power master that uses the long rod. A manual master will definately not work with the short rod.

Jimmy. In the booster setup the pushrod hooks on to the lower hole in the brake pedal.

You get both length rods when you buy a booster (well a GM one anyways). The oval style MC takes the long rod, the square type MC takes the short rod. The best thing to do if you are not looking for correctness, is to go get a whole booster/MC set up from Pep Boys. They come pre assembled and all you do is bolt it on.
