I don't think the tubular arms will offer any benefit for drag racing... The upper arms are stiffer, so they flex less and therefore offer better handling than the stock uppers, but if the rest of the suspension/wheels/tires are not intended for better handling, then the tubular upper arms would likely be a waste of money... Tubular arms are also available in a shortened version, for use with the "tall spindle" swap. Once again, this swap is mainly a handling improvement (although bigger brakes are a plus). They usually use "stock" ball joints, but not necessarily "Chevelle" components... Brob Jun 14th, 04, 1:23 PM Take a look at Global West, WEB site they have a lot of information on disk brakes.
