Sorry guys but I gotta ask somebody. May as well be you.

I'd like to know the advantages other than weight over stock A arms. Also, do they provide any benefit for a street vs strip car?

Do they use stock ball joints?

I'll take a stab at this...

I don't think the tubular arms will offer any benefit for drag racing...

The upper arms are stiffer, so they flex less and therefore offer better handling than the stock uppers, but if the rest of the suspension/wheels/tires are not intended for better handling, then the tubular upper arms would likely be a waste of money...

Tubular arms are also available in a shortened version, for use with the "tall spindle" swap. Once again, this swap is mainly a handling improvement (although bigger brakes are a plus).

They usually use "stock" ball joints, but not necessarily "Chevelle" components...

I believe most of the aftermarket also mention "improved geometry" over stock or the ability to change camber (?) (for alignment purposes) over a wider area for better handling - I'd ask for numbers if I were to buy any...
