I have a factory brake booster in my 71 Velle with front disc/rear drum, and wanted to know where I can get a smaller booster?? I see alot of aftermarket ones that cost a bit of dough, and I also heard/read (can't remember where :confused: )
that a booster from an S-10 would bolt in. Would like to get a cleaner look in my engine compartment if possible.

I heard about the S-10 and looked at one. It seems like it wouldn't bolt to the firewall without modifaction. I didn't unbolt it and measure it though. I have a 69 and was gonna try the same thing. Let me know what you come up with.

If you have been watching our post(s), we have just finished our S-10 2” Dropped Superior Spindle Disc Brake Conversion.

We're also looking at booster options. We'll try to find an S-10 one this week, and see what it takes to modify it. If it's a simple modification, then maybe we will end up using it. The bolt up pattern wouldn't matter, as we use our 2 piece aluminum firewall anyway.
